Light ruby red tending to orange with ageing.
Bouquet:
Delicate, persistent, with fruity and flower hints.
Taste:
Delicately tannic, with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
Serve at:
16-18°C, in the Summer it is also very pleasant served cool.
Gastronomic combinations:
Hors d’oeuvres, with lightly seasoned first courses, soups, white meat-based-second courses, poultry, fresh cheeses and fish.
Vine of origin:
It is prevalently grown in the provinces of Asti and Alessandria, vintage is done between the end of September and the first decade of October. The wine obtained from it has to be drunk preferably young, in any case not older than three years.
